SHAKY TOWN: A Documentary

FAQ:

What is Shaky Town?

Shaky Town is documentary about San Francisco.

What is the movie about?

Christians in San Francisco have been attacked by the militant edge of the homosexual community.  We draw attention to this along with the recent attack on the institution of marriage by the mayor of the city.  We also show the response of the Christian community to this action, including the legal actions that brought an end to the illegal marriages.  We also interview many experts on the subjects of culture, political action, theology, and morality.

Why the name Shaky Town?

It’s the trucker name for San Francisco.  We don’t know any truckers but we googled it- so it must be true! ;)

Is it a gay bashing movie?

Certainly not.  Our desire is to see sinners come to Christ regardless of whatever specific sins they are involved in.  (Yes we believe homosexuality is a sin). We are all sinners, maybe not of this sort, but sinners none-the-less. We need forgiveness just like they do. So no bashing, just truth telling.

Does it show both sides?

We interviewed representatives from both sides, although this movie is from a distinctly Christian perspective, so we are not neutral but we are fair to all participants.

Who are you?

We are Bible believing Christian brothers.  Colin is an elder in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, a computer animator, a father of four and now a filmmaker. Euan lives in Scotland and is a movie making professional, a bank manager, and attends Shettleston Free Church of Scotland in Glasgow.

Do you have any eye opening moments in the movie?

We show real footage of a church attack along with convicting personal testimonies from some who faced attempted murder for the sake of their Christian beliefs.
